anybody done this? do they work any better? mine r really rounded...thought about turning them around to the sharper side....
x2, didnt notice a difference either. What makes a difference when the rocks start wearing is to take a tire groover to them to soften up the lugs.I tried it...didn't seem to make any difference.

hmm got a picture of said grooving? did you just put a new edge on the lug, or...?
No, but run the groover over all the factory siping is all i did.hmm got a picture of said grooving? did you just put a new edge on the lug, or...?
You got to admit with only a 1/4 inch of tread they were pretty unstoppable. And a year later someone is still running them.he had bald tires and tried to just make them not slicks :;

I would have to look at my cheapo groover tomorrow but if I had to guess it was about 1/8th inch.I have run mine both ways and didn't see a huge difference.
How wide of a groove did you make?
I run my rears backwards and my fronts standard direction. Thats how i've always had them so dont know if theres a difference :redneck:
