Not sure if you all have kept up with the information, or lack of, on CAOS about Trailfest this weekend. It has been like pulling teeth to get any information for costs, or specifically one day costs to ride. I have some guys from over here that were thinking about bringing their rigs to ride for one day and watch the races one day. But is seems the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing. I am afraid it is going to be a big cluster **** this weekend.

CAOS has nothing to do with that particular ride though... its SFWDA that has cluster ****ed that all up. Im in the same boat, with a couple of folks bringing rigs Sunday to ride. Pretty shitty when your a local and your trying to help out a park, SFWDA and the event in general by inviting outta state folks that have never seen or heard of XRRA and there are no straight forward answer's about fee's. :dunno:

SFWDA is a cluster. There goal is to bring in folks from all across the SE, not so much the people 10 mins away. I am sure if you asked CAOS they would tell you how this event is "theirs", they are good about taking credit.

Here is what I got from SFWDA:
Trailfest
One day
onsite reg.
no meals, camping, or shirts included
non-SFWDA member: $30/ addnl adult pass: $10
SFWDA member: $15/$5

Cool, so riding Friday gets me back $15 of my $40 dues, how cool is that.

I was not really pointing the finger at CAOS, but that is the source of information for the ride. There were just not really any clear answers on there and a lot of confusion. I just hope the weekend does not turn out to be a huge goat ****.

I just got to GrayRock. I decided to park the RV at the TonyDome, technically outside the park!
