Hey Kelly, I need to make up magnets for the side of my truck and some Darling cards so people think I'm the guy from Darling picking up WVO laughing1 ... I went around to a buncha restaurants, looks like Darling is the company that 99% of the local restaurants pay to take their waste vegetable oil... Found a buncha WVO... Just don't know if I can take it

So I wonder what level crime it is to steel trash oil??

Only one I found that was not Darling was Chipotle and they just had 55 gallon unmarked drums... Wondering if all Chipotle's are like that, we might hit them up if they aren't using Darling... I am going to call an old co-worker from Fuel today and see if I can gather their oil they have 2 locations...

Need a "recycling is not a crime" sticker made up... like the old santa cruz stickers laughing1

are they paying them for taking it? most places round here are getting paid to let someone take it.

If they are paying - tell em you'll dispose of it for free but be prepared to take it ALL and be on schedule and don't leave them with a mess outback and you'll be set

Yep they are paying for pickup service. My old manager uses them and said "take it so we don't have to pay the disposal company"... :woody:

Will the disposal co give it to you for free, or for a small charge. May give you an unlimited supply at one location.

laughing1 Good call. I don't think this should be too hard.. I know the pickup place recycles it so they do pickup for a purpose but I'm sure pickup charges ain't cheap!! laughing1 That's what 2AM pumpin oil into a trailer tank is good for laughing1

yeah it took me a bit to get used to on my crapberry, you have limited functionality
no qoutes, no smilies, no pictures, and on mine I cant tell what is qouted and what isnt. so all i do is make sure I just click the "NEW" on the main pages

yea no pics on teh crackberry is annoying but much quicker than the forums with pictures, PBB takes forever same with my site...

You could start the waste mafia. Bring it back old school gangster style. Pull the driver over take his wallet and license and say" you may know who I am , but I know who you are" then make him dump his Vo in your waste container.

I didn't know most were paying. waste grease is traded like any other commodity now. they're being payed for it and charging to pick it up. we aren't too far from the time when restaurants get paid up to $.10 a gallon for the ****. take the bad with the good or gtfo. I really want to get 3K gallons or so on ice now so I'm not fist fighting for it later. I have about 1.5K gallon of storage right now at the house, and my cousin that farms and drives a diesel and is VERY opportunistic and savvy has 3-1000 gallon tanks just sitting and collecting dust. I wanna get ahead. Like was said, tell them you'll take it and MAKE SURE it stays cleaned up behind the place and you'll be golden until someone else comes along and wants to pay.
