Out of length on a 109" web and using all the droop in the rear with 14's and a 1410. Maybe with a 350/box/205. Still not a fan but I LOVED the 2.72 in my old buggy. Never used 5.44. I mean if that case was good enough for 40" stickies I'd just run a 241 from a 4l80. When is somebody going to make a rear case half for the 241 that is a single row of gears simply to transmit power to the front Output that also serves as a girdle and is very low profile. Countershaft pocket in front case being a large problem I'm sure. I digress.Always have wished there were a 27spline female input for a 205 so you could drop it in a ford and run drivers drop on a 350/pg/4l60 in a short package
