is there a delete for this

Is there any way to delete this thing, it is on the top of my intake right behind the throttlebody on my 6.0, if I could get rid of this thing I could do away with the huge hole in the middle of my hood

that picture sucks and its hard to see, but i believe I took that off mine, just unbolt it or pull it out, and get a rubber plug, the kind that expands with a bolt in the middle from parts store. I think it need like a 1.25" plug.
