i picked up this truck last weekend for parts. it was totaled in the right front corner. i was wondering if the frame is repairable, or if it would be worth anything to anyone.

The front crossmember can be replaced fairly easy, but the problem could be the frame right behind the upper a-frames! the independent toyota 4x4 frames are very common for bending in this area when hit in the front! Look at this area very closely on both sides for paint cracking which will tell you that the frame is kinked or bent. Odie.

well, i still have the truck. sold the rear axle and power steering box, pulled the doors, pulled the bed off, and now its just sitting out there, doing nothing. oh ya, and i cut a hole in the firewall to pull the e-brake handle out :redneck:. the cab is still good, i think, if someone wants something cheap for a truggy build. and i'm pretty sure the frame can be fixed with some box tube.
