Yeah, we made a quick trip up there. Nolen and I met Jim and another guy up there Friday afternoon. We went to Southside and ran some stuff down there, including Three Stage. David and another buddy of ours came on Friday nite. We rode our arses off at Green Acres on Saturday. It rained briefly on Saturday, it did not really slow us down. There was ALOT of water on the trails, but it did not affect the traction. The first trail of the day was Black Sheep Blvd. From there we continued to Cake Walk and then on to the upper part of Slims Slope. While on Slim's Slope Nolen and Jim decided to move some rocks and create a new section of the trail. It definately was cool to be the first rigs to go up it. As we were coming out of Slim's Slope it began to rain. David had to go do a quick fix on his transfer case. While he was gone we waited out the rain and went back down the mountain on Three Trail. From there we did Jeff's ledges and Green Momba. David caught back up with us and we did Green Momba extension. After doing the extension we came back around and did Green Momba backwards. We then did Waterfall as our last trail for the weekend.

Thats the way to do it. What'd you think of the Extension? Did you guys go all the way to the property line and U-turn to come back to the Bounty trail entrance? Any pics?
Matt where did you snap that stub? Slims Slopes on the upper section? I'd like to go and do the lower then get up and walk the middle. Heard is was narly with a 30ft vert wall. (Thats Slims Slopes I'm thinking of right)

Oh yeah where are all of the pics?

Yeah I broke on the upper portion of Slim's. Slims is nasty and I do believe there is a big vertical in it

The Extension was pretty tough, especially with all the water. We went all the way down to the bounty trail. Then we turned to the right, then dropped back in to the Extension.

Slims does have a vertical wall on it but its not 30' its only about 10'

Pics should be up soon.

No way you guys went up the Extension. I thought I saw a pic you took that had the sign on it saying Bounty but didn't venture past it. That is just the beginning of the Extension. You got another mile up that creek to the actually Bounty Entrance and it is a left up out of the creekbed or a right up the opposite creekbank to get out. We winched the bypass on the exit from the extension. And it was still like pulling deadweight but turning 4000rpms.

Dave, Joel, what did you think of that climb out of the water where the slope kicked your d-side quarter into that boxvan sized boulder?
Heres a pic.

Yeah Wyatt that spot was a beotch. My rig took a pretty good dent in the tub from that boulder. The extension is nice. The beginning of the Bounty trail looks insane, I would never be able to get out to the creek if I tried it.

We are working on the pics. Should have them up tomorrow sometime. Nolen took about 160 and there are some good ones.

We sure did, P had fuel pump issues towards the end. We went past the Bounty sign and the turnout to the right, and headed up it until it got real nasty. Then we bailed to the right, and looped around to the Bounty sign and turnout and headed back to camp. It was not as wet as your pic but we did ride all of it on Friday. A ground behind us kept going up the bounty and I thought they were insane. This is right around where we bailed up and out on the right

You guys bailed out before it got real hairy then. That section in your pic is insane. One guy went right, and got denied, we all ended up going left and pulling some silly shiat.

Here is a side shot of that pool in your pic. That Heep is on the pumkin after winching it out of the hol eit had flopped left in and is ready to winch forward with its own winch. Craziest recovery effort I've seen to date.

Matt we all need to meet back up there, break into groups of 3 maybe 4 and split up and have a ball.

Once you got through that you had a pool that you had to hit the wall at and angle, and negative approach angles were a must unless you had enough tire.

Then you had this , you had to stay left, that big ass set of two rocks in the back...the one to the right is the one that you would check up your d-side quarter panel on, as seen in my 1st pic
