I have been working on this truck for about 4years now and its been in the garage more than the trail the 1st thing i did was put a 97 4.3 vortec with a 700r4 then i bought all brand new 6' lift from allpro a locked in the front and in the rear with 5:29s and less than a year later after 2 trips due to motor problems that i could not figure out and took it to trevor & crew at s&n he fixed it "thanks guys" and then i decided i want a 4 link it was the first time i have ever done it i also had my buddy help me out with the set up and the exo was a 1st as well hear are some pics :redneck:

Looks good, but where are the rear shocks, or mounts for 'em for that matter???:corn:
 
you might want to do something about our outer link mounts on the frame. with low gearing and traction there is alot of force on the box attached to the frame as it is in the pic (prybar like). long ago when I was a tyota guy I made brackets that grabbed alot more fame tube forward and it tore open like a tuna can without much pressure. the fames are only 1/8" thick and are prone to collapse or tearing without fishplates. just speaking from results I had. :)
 
thanks. ya have been wanting to put some shocks on but the money trying to save to buy a house cause i want to run some gas shocks and the frame mounts worry me a little but i do have some long gussets on them after they where welded i wished that i would have plated the frame lots of things learned trough the proses next time and the 4.3 is cool but wish i would have stayed with the 22r and just added the propane cause i want to run bigger tiers but with my heavy foot i would probably bust my ring & pinion and it was a expensive swap
