Wanted to post how I built my tube fenders using the factory inner fender. I used 2x2 angle, 1 1/2" tubing and 18 gauge plate. I have less than $100.00 in material. I have seen others built like this so I am not taking the credit for the design just think mine turned out pretty good for me to do it with my limited fabrication skill's ;D

The upload folder is full. Please try a smaller file and/or contact an administrator.

What is this telling me? Every time I try to post the pics this is what i get

Should be fixed now... I gotta figure out how to increase the upload folder without causing issues... But it's fixed for now.

Started off by cutting inner fender well from factory fender and built a new tube frame and attached the inner fender

Then plated frame with 18 guage plate and welded solid. I think with just a little Bondo on the welds and some fresh paint they will turn out good.

After allot of body repair finally making some good progress. Will be painting the hood tonight and Wal-Mart Rhino Lining the inside. Hopefully have everything put back together by this weekend to get ready for FFA. :spin:

Hard to tell in the picks but it is a charcoal grey and has silver and green metallic in the paint.

Getting down to the wire to have it ready for FFA. Had a used hood that had a small dent that we repaired. This was all I liked having it put back together after this weekend and we set it on the stand Monday night to spray and the Bondo cracked. The hood looked in decent shape but once we stripped the old Eagle sticker off it was a little rough. Should have sucked it up in the beginning and just bought a new hood. Luckily Keith got me one overnight and got it painted last night. Also took out the factory dash this weekend and built me a Stainless Dash with just the items I need. Removed all the factory heater box and can really work under the dash know. Going to install a Mojave heater for heat. I think it really helped the appearance allot. Some more updated picks

It is not perfect but I am kinda proud because I have got allot of work in it and My friends have really stepped up when it was getting down to the wire.
