:looser: I know this is lame, but I don't have the place, the skills, or the tools to pull these off.(basic tools only)

I have a 95 YJ that has leaky t-case seals (front seal is good) needs rear pinion seals, and the spedo sensor leaks.:booo:

I either need a recommendation for a repair shop in the Edmonds area that is very familiar with jeeps.

OR......

I'd love to learn how to do this myself. I can trade computer help, photo business cards, professionally print your digital pics, etc. for help on these and a place to do them (I live in a condo and park on an incline). Beer  and pizza (or insert fav drink and food here) supplied while working.

Thanks!

So, the rear output seal around the driveshaft is bad?

You'll have to remove the driveshaft to get to the pinion seal. At that time, it's pretty easy to get to the transfer case seal..

The speedo gear sensor on the t-case can be done easily as well. just be careful when removing it to note the location that its in. It can be installed in different ways to accomodate different size speedo gears. Just make sure you note what orientation it was in BEFORE you pull it out.

After that, make sure the areas where they join up are free and clear of dirt and debris and use RTV silicone around the edges on the T-case where it mates to the sensor.
