So, the rear output seal around the driveshaft is bad?You'll have to remove the driveshaft to get to the pinion seal. At that time, it's pretty easy to get to the transfer case seal..The speedo gear sensor on the t-case can be done easily as well. just be careful when removing it to note the location that its in. It can be installed in different ways to accomodate different size speedo gears. Just make sure you note what orientation it was in BEFORE you pull it out.After that, make sure the areas where they join up are free and clear of dirt and debris and use RTV silicone around the edges on the T-case where it mates to the sensor.
