Im having trouble deciding how to build my suspension for the front of my stretched yj. I have 18" fox air shocks for it. Not sure if 3 link is the way to go or double triangulation. Just worried about clearance issues. If anyone has some good pictures of their build or links to some i would appreciate it greatly. Thanks in advance.

It's more of a buggy than a jeep so I can mount shocks any way I need to make them work.

There are a few jeeps I have seen where the lower links are bent for clearance. The guy we rode with at Hawk Pride said there was a builder who built about 7 jeeps that way, I also saw them in the Random Rigs going up Los Primos video. Is that just a rockwell thing or does it work on other axles as well.

Your drive shaft would take more of a beating if you did it on a standard axle. The rock guys get away with cause their shafts are up high, so it can still slide on the links and not the shaft.

From what I remember those Rockwell rigs your talking about are y link upper also! Gotta have some beef material to deal with that kind of forces!

I have owned two of those jeeps yall are talking about and they both had two small upper links mounted on top of the chunk. And the lowers built the way they was it let the axle move back a couple inches when you rammed into stuff. I was always scared the axle was going to fold up under it.

I have a buddy cutting me 2 of these on his plasma table this week. I'm definitely using one on the rear and if it will fit descent I will use one on the front. With any luck it will help with clearance issues.
