Jellico, TN XRRA Accomodations

Looking for a place to get a room for Fri/Sat night. I will get there friday mid day and leave early sunday morning. Riding down this trip.

Races are in White Oak, TN which is only 10 miles away (east)

Looks like there are Days Inn and some local hotels.

I heard Mercer and some of them talking last weekend about the Days Inn. I assume that is where most people stay.

Note! Jellico has horrible crime, lock up your rigs and take radio faces inside the rooms, etc. I stayed at the Days Inn last year and Jamie's stereo was jacked.

I have no particular reason to be surprised other than just traveling thru Jellico a bunch of times, but I would have never thought you'd have to worry about anything around there. That sucks!

Yes, and from the looks of the pics they do have ground level outside entry rooms.

FAWESOME! Since Wyatt is gone now, I will prolly reserve two rooms for Kelly, Miles, Wyatt and myself. Unsure if P or any others are coming up. Wyatt mentioned his wife and kid flying in for this one???

When I reserved the room, she asked if I wanted to guarantee it with a credit card or cash. Not sure how I was going to stuff cash through the phone :dunno:

I'm just getting smarter since I'm limited on vacation days.. makin my 3 weeks go as far as possible. It was alot easier to travel when school was optional laughing1 or after school when I was unemployed pepper.gif

It's just not smart to take 2 days off for a 1 day comp...

Take this weekend for example: video at the hammers for 3 days, hittin a corr race, the Xtremey awards and have a day to get over my hangover/rest up before flying home all for the price of 3 vacation days.. :woody:

So we'll be alone at the park then?

I don't know if I'll regret this or not but it looks like all the other races I have to go thru St. Louis, which means I'll be going thru KC. Kelly, miles, muchado we should have plenty room in the toter, for jellico and Attic but not for Hannibal. Anyway to save some $$ is good in my books.
