Jet Coating Exhaust

Anybody have experience with Jet-Coating exhaust? I am thinking about getting it done. I absolutely hate header wrap and think if I jet coat the exhaust it should kill some of the heat there for I won't have to use that horrible wrap. What do you guys think?

Yes it works! Had it done on my last KTM dirty bike.

Plan to do it on my Husky and Triumph this winter as well for heat issues and I also hate header wrap (it traps water and rust **** out faster than you would think). Plus it prevents it from rusting out. There is someone local to me that does it as well so no shipping that bulky ****.

If you can justify the cost, it will cut down some heat but mainly keep the parts looking nice.

It's cheap ifit's local and no shipping involved compared to new exhaust and wrap. Then again I sell my **** fast, but both my bikes generate a ton of heat and make summer riding miserable at times.

Nolen had a guy do his and it wasn't but like $200 but that doesn't include headers. I haven't found anybody close by.

The guy that does it here also does powdercoating, so that might be an option to call around and ask.

Unsure what my guy does, I am going to ask more this winter when I tear both bikes down for this and some plastic repairs.
