John can you bring your scales to Choccolocco Mtn this weekend? I would like to see how much my buggy weighs.

Bring a jack or two to get the tires off the ground. I am gonna guess your weight, does the motor have al heads or is it all cast iron?

I have a floor jack in my trailer. Yes the motor has AL heads. Just remember most of my chassis is .188 wall.

I think 3750 to 3800.

Mine has to be 3650 with al links and coilovers/springs, didn't have that first time I weighed it.

I think your front axle/steering is heavier than mine, but your rear is ligher than mine so that is a wash. Your motor is less with the AL heads than mine. You have bigger links and joints which will add weight and the rest is probably a wash. So add in your heavier chassis and I think 3800 at a max, probably in the mid 3700 range

Sure, but I have not weighed anything with floor jacks. As I have been told, place 4 pads down and zero them out, not move them after that. So, I guess we will need 2 jack stands.

Raise rear and put on jack stands, raise front on floor jack. Put pads under tires and zero scales. drop front, trhen drop rear. I will bring the jack stands, and you will bring the floor jack, correct.

And I'll go 4,050.
