I need to wash the Turd.... again

Muffler Hangars.... again

Clean the inside..... again

Check fluids and tighten all bolts in steering and suspension.... again

Im lookin very hard at putting JJs on the front lowers at the frame and threaded bushings at the axle up front. Cost wise its not a huge expense as I have the threaded bushings already. Fab wise though. Id have to redo the frame mounts completely and cut one side of the tabs and widen/ reweld tabs at the axle. Havent decided if Im ready to open that can of worms yet or just keep rollin with the clanky clank :D

I am getting a new Hood Catch today, as it was a casualty of the JUMP. Gotta reinstall my fuel cell vent filter also, another casuality of the JUMP. Wash it up and swap out our spare hubs and I am good to go.

Well my motor and transmision are currently outta my jeep. Transmission is getting new pump, hope its ready by this weekend.

Will you have the 35spl spares this weekend ? I feel another pop coming on via Cable Hill ;D

Yes getting them tommorrow. If you keep popping them go to flanges, and don't give me the weakest link crap...

I put a steering cooler on mine last night. Drained my diff fluid from Clayton (wasn't that bad). Had my radiator repaired (stabbeded it with a knife.) All I have left to do is make some rear bump stops.

Im really OK with popping them, as long as it isnt to the point as gayness yours got too... that was getting ridiculous every ride.

I washed mine, cleaned out the inside and hung the exhaust with bailing wire ( so I could drive it to the car wash LOL )

I plan to do the exhaust hangar and hit the fluids and bolts tommorow. 8)

Give us a shout when you guys get in town

your gayness while wheeling already far exceeds anything mattO had going on before. I promise.

;D Great post from the guy that was riding shotgun in Clayton ;D ;D ;D

Jam nuts can suck my balls. Those bitches worked loose out back and were fawking up my universe. The lowers were fine, but the uppers had worked loose and were walking out of the tube. I had a mile of threads showing at the bushing end, so much that one of the bushings was bent. I took out the uppers and got them back to the right length and thread engagement, and it was all good. Those jam nuts are hard to get tight, now I understand why some link builders are machining wrench flats into their arms :)

Got all the other stuff done, just waiting to pick up my new hood catch today and I will be ready to roll.

Yep, you gotta put the stank on them when you run lt / rt threaded inserts. Just like we did with your steering in Clayton when it kept working loose. Ones you get them tight as balls you shouldnt have any issue though.

There as tight as I can get them by myself, it really is a two person job. I will not do the left and right hand threads again, that **** sucks

Yup, I work on it more than I wheel, but it might be the severity of my wheeling that causes that. I'm not scared.
on the lock nuts, I put a pipe wrench, normally a 3'er or so on the link, then put the wrench on the nut and go til it rounds off. then you get another pipe wrench, put on the nut and tighten until you asshole puckers out. then its tight.

When you get everything set the way you want it, just put a little tac weld on it...big enough to hold but small enough to cut off in an emergency or when you get ready to rebuild. ;)
