Yesterday cut out of work . Got home start pulling the knuckle off Mimi to brace them up. (like we did Daniel's) Got every thing tore down. Both kingpin bushings were messed up . 1 was cracked and the other was in 2 pieces. 1 of the top bolt holes threads were messed up. No big deal. Right? New kingpin bushings/rebuild kits. Then just run a tap the the bolt hole to make sure there are threads in there.Go over to Daniels clean the knuckles up, rub them down real good. Starting to look new. Get the grinder to grind the bump on the front down,swap over to the flap wheel to knock the paint off. BOOM!!! Nice crack in the knuckle!!!

LUCKY!

We found out the knuckle on the TJ was about to break when it broke in the middle of a trail.

so. brace it well and run them anyway. all stock ones are cracked or are about to be cracked. If you don't have the coin right now, fuggin weld that **** all up, brace the **** out of it and stabilize the steering arm and you'll be fine.

I looked at all the knuckle I could find lastnight.My arms are keyed to my knuckles. I didnt want to get a set of bears and cut them up.I didnt like the solids cause of the 6 bolt set up cause id have to make new arms. Im ordering these. This way all I have to do is cut a recessed key into my arms.
