Kansas in August

well, I will be in Salina, KS 3-16 Aug for some go ole army training. There is a possibility that I could have time off, but we will have to wait and see once we are there. Is there anything in that area? I am sure it will be hot as hell fire out there at that time. I was at Ft. Riley a few years back in July, so I know there will be storms and **** as well. we had a tornado roll through during our time there....fun **** how far are some of you KS folk from there?

the ORV that rob posted pics of recently (tuttle creek) is about 30 minutes from there. K state is a half or less. I'm about 2 hrs from K state. just over that for Riley. you can't bring your truck can you

doubt that I could fit it on the plane.....unless they would put it on a C130 MAYBE we could drink some beers somewhere if we have the time. I would like to leave post at some point.
dunno if I would want to ride in the sheep, I cant remember when I had my last tetnus shot!

I doubt I'll make it that way that time of year anyway. that's our busiest time, and it wont be raining by then.

hopefully they will find some mud for us to play in. whats the point of recovery school if you cant get something stuck! I figured I would post up and see what was out there just in case there would be time to do something.
