also my tranny for my dodge got here a week to the day after being promised. This is only a big deal because this weekend is wheelin, last week was nothing and I was powerless to accomplish **** because I had no parts that I ordered in plenty of time. Normally a week wouldn't be hard to pull off this kind of install, but I can't work this week because michelle is in the hospital and going to have major surgery on her neck this week. taking a ruptured disc out, breaking 2 verts aparts and putting a fake disc in, cadaver bone pieces, screws, plate, the whole deal. only 6 weeks heal time. did I mention our wedding is 6 weeks from this saturday? oh yeah, the surgery is thursday. :-[

the sheep has had a vortec in it from the beginning. bottom end and all. its from a '98 chebby truck. it came long block so I carb'd it. then I put TBI on it. I didn't get any of the wiring or injection as it was a takeout. Now the lifters went when I was in 'bama.

****ing 4.5 hours later the new lifters are in and I am an oil change short of firing it up and running it. also got my s10 blazer drug up to the shop and I need a starter to see if I can make it run. it spins but won't throw out to engage with the flywheel. orielly's wants $74 and I only gave $50 for the ****ing thing.
looking at doing a cutting brake tomorrow
