Two TH425's are loaded in my truck ready for ya.

Mock pic not actuals.

Those fuggers have to weight 300+ a piece. Dad and I about said **** it, and dug out a cherry picker. With the trailer on, and full loaded my truck squated a bit, with these in the bed all the way at the front, it squats silly bad. I'm spotlighting astronauts on the Moon when I'm night driving now.
Good thing I only have to haul them one way.

WTF trans is that? Is that for his outta the box buggy plan?

I had to look it up myself. From what I gather it come out of a caddy and is a transaxle, could be wrong just what I googled.

Yeah frontwheel drive Eldorado's. Its a TH400 with a transaxle assembly on it. Heavy fugger!

Here is a better pic. It is a BOP TH400 with a gear case on the input to move everything over to the tranmission that runs back toward the front of the engine. The output is an actual nodular differental.

One of the Badlands guys build a buggy with a transverse engine, this tranny, and he swapped the diff for a 9" that he could #1 change the gear ratio in, and #2 put an ARB in for front and rear digs. The diff acts like your transfer case.

except I'm going with a front out of a chevy IFS late model HD for my tcase. 3.73:1 transfer case for a lot less than an atlas, aluminum, not too heavy, flanges that are balls huge for a driveline and a disco in one end if i need it. that's why i need a rear disco. with a 6 liter and a tranny made for motorhomes originally, this should be a tough combo to beat with 2 of them at my disposal and more 400 parts than I konw what to do with.
