King of the Hammers Work Weekend, 1/10/09

Looking at January 10th on the calendar right now, would that work for most everybody? Car will already bee gutted for the most part. All the panels and interior will be out so we should have easy access to everything.

If I can get some help on this maintenance stuff it will save me tons of time. Things that I will be trying to get done include replacing the tranny/case mounts which means pulling the assembly up through the roof. Going through all the axles/dshafts and changing the fluids throughout. Maybe some light fab work also, but nothing too hard. We will provide the food and beer, hope you can make it! It would mean a lot to me if you could.

The guys from EOR want to come down also and some others like Hailey have asked to help also.

That is the Weekend of the "7th Annual Winter Wheeling Weekend". I am already committed (and paid) for this event. So, I am out on that date. Sorry. If you are not set on that date, you are welcome to do this at my house, where you would have access to a lift and other tools, including a bender.

That is cool, I may take you up on that and we may move the date back if needed. I hope to have a welder by then for the fab work. I rig will be hard to move as it will be stripped. I may bring it over for a fab day or something when it is still together.

Jamie, I will work out a time to come get the welder from you and I really appreciate it! I am still planning on working on the rig this weekend if anybody wants to help. We will have food and beer for the day and I think the guys from EOR are coming down to help. I hope to be putting it all together at that point. I plan to get heavy into the teardown in the next week or so. Hopefully P and Hailey can come over after Christmas and help with a few small fab items that need to happen like tire carrier and pass side hold bar.

Wanted to bump this up. I have felt like there is not enough time for the one man Matt O gang to get this work knocked out. I am sure by this day I will really need help. Jimmy and the EOR guys are coming down and I know P, Haley and TK are in for sure. We will take care of food and beer and have tons of places to crash. We will start Friday night, but will also be here Sat & Sun. Thanks again for the help and support, hopefully this weekend will be the last of it!

You really dont have that much to do , especially when you weigh in the people you have coming over the 10th. It will get worked over very quickly. You've done the "grunt" work with all the time consuming cleaning up and what not type stuff. It needs put back together and a little bit of fab. The making it "look" good paint and **** is the biggest time consuming stuff left over in my opinion. We all good....
