Hey Guys,

I have talked to a lot of people about this but if you would like to come over and help you are welcome. I think we will start with some stuff on Friday evening, but most of the work will be done on Saturday and Sunday. We have rooms and couches for people to sleep and we will have food and beer. We have some fab work to do, ring and pinion setups, tires and wheels to mount and then hopefully start putting it back together. Give me a heads up if you are coming so we can get enough food and beer. Looking fwd to it!

Yeah I know most of you are far away, but I just wanted to put this out there for all the local guys. I have talked to several already about coming, P, Haley, TK, Jimmy, etc. I am sure there are others, just cannot think of them. We can sleep 5 in beds and I have a two air matresses and 3 more couches, so if you anybody doesn't want to drive back and forth we got room for ya. thumb.gif

Jen is going shopping for food and beer tommorrow, and she said she is even cooking breakfast on Sunday. :eat:

Re: KOH Work Weekend

Haley, if it is doable maybe bring the plasma over? We have some tabs to clear from the chassis. I have a welder on loan from Jamie (same as P's), have a drill press, grinders and basic hand/air tools. P is bringing the notcher and chop saw, and I don't think we need to bend anything. Might be good to bring an extra grinder or two and I really need a very minimal amount of 1.75" and 1" tubing. I am talking a couple feet of each. I don't think I am missing anything.

To Do:
Fab Spare Tire Carrier (removable using 1.5" tube clamps. I have the clamps, the mounting plate drilled to the right bolt pattern, gussets and some 1.5" DOM for this. Need a few feet of 1.75" to connect the mounting plate

Fab Pass Side T Bar - Have quick release ready to weld to, need 1" tubing for this and some hand grips which I think P has for it.

Weld In Panel Tabs for Kick Panels (have the tabs)

Setup R&P Front and Rear - Jimmy is brining the parts for this

Put Front & Rear End Back Together

Fix Tranny Dipstick at the case - I think TK was bringing something to do this

Cut Off Old Tabs from the chassis

Hopefully start putting it back together.

Sweetness, I figure Jimmy could use the help since both ends have to be done. EOR is open Saturday, so he is coming down in the afternoon. We should be able to knock out a lot on Saturday and then be able to go at the gears once Jimmy gets there with the parts that evening.

Re: KOH Work Weekend

Ill bring it but a heads up, my ChopSaw is all ****ed up.. . it works, but its rough and I need to either order parts for it soon or buy another one ! Handle is broke and now the switch is acting up.

Still gets the job done mind you, but I'd have to insist that I cut everything because i dont want anyone getting hurt because the Ol Milwaukee needs some love. thumb.gif

Re: KOH Work Weekend

No worries, I forgot we should have new tire to mount also. Lots to do but it will be fun! Thanks again for the help!

Re: KOH Work Weekend

Before you mount the tires look inside them and see what names are on the inside. There should be 2 little stickers with last names on them.

With that said, if it hs your name and we tear up a sidewall we can hold you personally and financially responsible for the tire in question correct ?
