latest work on my rig

the installation of my 4.3 Atlas created alot more issues than I was planning for, and it kinda escalated from there.

the result, new floorpan encompassing the passenger side and center section. completely new dash/center console. also fabbed up some new skins for rear fenders.

a few pics.

pretty much finished console. 1 small panel to put in still. gotta take some more pics of the driver and passenger side.

had a nice warm day friday, so I rolled it out and scrubbed down the new wheels and tires. after the first of the year, the H1's are getting rock rings, so I get to tear them down.

Very nice, looks ready to rock.

Would cables for the Atlas been easier. I would rather have had mine on cables.

I thought about going with cables. jimmy said it was easier to break-in the atlas with the regular shifters. I can always switch to cables later I guess, if I want.

we lengthened the shifters that are in there right now and it is SUPER easy to shift the way it is currently setup..

thanks man, I've got a buddy that's gonna cut me some for just the price of the steel.

just a little pressure washing and a coat of flat black. :flipoff1:

I think I'll get em chrome dipped after I get the rock rings on. bling blang!

Man that rig has come through some major changes. I don't think we have ever actually met Tony but I have seen this rig several times over the past year 1/2 and it looks a hell of a lot different than it used to

whew, just got back to civilization. been outta contact since the 23rd.

the wheelbase is 110inches.

probably gonna spray it down with a satin black enamel sometime in the near future.

yeah, its come a long way since I picked it up in 2005.
