Summer is here and Im all antsy to go start little projects on my 4runner. So lets post some pics of those first gen 4runners. It will help me with ideas and we can boast and gloat about how cool our rigs are. HAHAHA

Well I sold it but here is right after I finished it.
87 runner 22re w56 dual cases w/ 4.7s in rear. Marlin clocked case adapter.
85 front axle, 87 ifs rear. 4.10s welded rear, open front.
Trail gear crossover histeer, marlin 4in front springs, allpro 4in rear springs.
Allpro front and rear tube bumpers, and rocksliders.
37 12.5 15 Goodyear MTR on 15x8in rims.

My '89 back in 1997. He led a rough life, stolen stripped and recovered in '97, R.I.P 1999 headon collission with drunk driver.

Thats the cleanest Hoerunner I've ever seen. How was the gearing? 4.10's and 37's?

Not real good around town and on any hill on the freeway. It had a pretty tight 22re too. It was hurting for power. I built it to wheel but couldnt bring myself to beating it, so I sold it and bought a full size blazer Im building.
