I am soon to start a new project and have been going over what type of motor to throw in me yota thing. I am looking at the pros and cons of what you people have out there.

So I figure my options are:

2rz/3rz-----have heard of oiling problems at extreme angles, expensive, hard to find---with bellhousing can be run on toy running gear, light, good power.

4.3---- will toy running gear hold up to the power of the 6?, easy to find, easy to aftermarket build?

V8----heating issuse, drive train will not hold up, heavy.

22re---underpowered, easy to replace (project has one in it already)

Please give me input if you have and run one of these motors. Tell me what you liked and what you didnt like about them. Please dont be that guy who has a stock 22r in his rig but wants to tell all about the motor that he wishes he could have in his rig.

i ran the 22re in an 85 toy with 60 front, duals, locked 5.29's, ect ect. IT SUCKED. The problem with this motor in the northwest...is wheel speed. It probaly works killer down south where the rock is nice and dry but up here you need to get those tires movin sometimes to climb and it just wont do it with the guttless toy motor. I would run the 4.3 if it was my rig.
