Lift dually Chevy with super singles

I'm wanting lift a 2002 Chevy one ton 6" and put 35s on it. I was wanting to make it single rear wheel so I could run 1 wide tire instead of 2 skinnys. What's the best way to do this with minimal downtime. This truck is a brush truck for a volunteer fire dept.

Put a late modle dodge front axle under the front. Junk the ifs.......................
