Limiting strap Question -Dragbody ?

I want to run limiting staps like dragbody has on his air shocks, I like the design.
How much do the straps stretch, my shocks are Sway away 18's that when fully extended are about 42 inches eye to eye.
What length strap should I get?

I dont have pic's but if you havent seen it, he has limiting straps bolted at the same point his air shocks are bolted. has a few zip ties around the body of the shock and the stap with all the play at the shaft side. It looks very clean and limits the shock from pulling out more than the axle from dropping.

i think they are sold as "stretched" lenght... mine are obviously shorter than the extended lenght of my shocks, but thats how i wanted them....

I heard 1-2" but not sure. Wouldnt hurt to call crow , beard or Poly etc. and ask them
