And along the same lines of controlling motion I am planning on a limiting strap. The Clayton site suggests center mounting a single strap. What are the pros/cons of a center mounted single strap vs dual straps, one at each end?

A center strap only works for when the axle is fully drooped...like when you jump it. It will not limit articulation or solve issues with binding (suspension, steering) or rubbing when flexed.

I've read of guys using chain, wire rope, old tow ropes, old seatbelts, and of course purpose built straps (beard, swayaway), those that have limiting straps, what are you guys using?

PRP straps on some of the shocks to keep them in check, and PRP center straps (usually run double or quad wrap on those)

I have a set of 19" straps hanging on the wall I'll sell ya for $15, only one was ever used.

Chains, cable, etc...is ghetto :rb:

I don't know what length I'll need, but I'll keep that in mind. You've got 2 or 4? It seemed like chains/wire rope/etc was a little ghetto... :redneck:
