my good quality ball valves works great for linelocks, no issues. just make sure they are rated fro use with brake fluid.I broke a rear axle, through in my spare which has thats has the brakes and backing plate removed for easy storage and lock out rear brakes, still have front brakes and no issue of fluid leaking everywhere. Would work equally well if a brake line is broken after the ballvalves, lock it out and still have brakes at one end.
