Any one brand of heim better than the other? I know when it comes to JJ, stick with Curries. What about size for link ends? Not sure on what size there are for heims, but iirc there are 3 different sizes of JJ, 2", 2.5" and 3". What do you all recommend? Lets here those opinions. And, yeah I know that if I go with JJ they'll hold me back on the trail:stirpot:

JJ's hold you back on the trail???? I know I limit on the travel of my 16" coilovers not on the JJ's..... However I will say when I do it again I will use a 3/4" heim on one end and a JJ on the other to limit the amount of flex in the links. My rig wiggles just a little side-to side going down the trail because the JJ's let the triangle flex just a little. Also the heims are nicer for lay out on the mounts as the require less width, especially on the front axle upper link mounts. oh and I am using the 2.5" JJ i believe....

Right now I'm dealing strictly in the rear. And as far as JJ holding ya back it's something that Jason C has been telling sarg:stirpot:

Check out the forged jj's. As far as ends go i would find the burliest ones, with the largest diameter threads and thru hole with the easiest price you can afford. Link material and ends add up quick.....get ready

Yep, I'm fully aware of that. Crash is supposed to stop by monday eve so we can chat and figure out link length for the rear. Then I can get ready to start handing over $$$$

BTW when's the next 1.5 dom purchase going to be?

According to currie they have both regular JJ and forged....which one is better?

I have some of the regular ones on my heep for years, no breakage, no play.

IMO...I don't think you need the forged

Any reason why the forged would be slightly cheaper than the standard JJ?

Oversea's manufactured. Make sure they have the ones you want IN STOCK before you order them.

1.5 dom order is next month.
