i've seen failure with both 7075 solid aluminum and HT chromo. i know redneckengineered had issue with threaded inserts pulling out of the links on a ht chromo link, i've seen multiple others with the same issue. with 7075 i've seen the link bust at the ends where the threads are cut but if i'm not mistaken they had material taken off to create a hex for wrenching on. good friend of mine has 6061 lower links that are bent all the hell. he's straitened them i don't know how many times but they bend first time they see a rock.i'm personally a fan of solid 7075. i've had great experience with them on my buggy. unless i was building a trailing arm, i doubt i would ever run anything else.
