My little brother just picked up a kinda half way done yj. Here's the specs.
350-Th350-203-205 doubler wms adapter. D60 front 14 bolt rear disc. 4.56 4 link rear with stock tj coils and some stiff ass front springs. some 44's. We will basically be changing mostly everything on it. He picked it up for 3000 Not bad for his first crawler. here's some pics. e need to wire and plumb it. change the front springs. make a new crossmember. Change the rear link set up a little. make all the steering and mount some seats. make a cage and get it done by the first weekend of november

got some work yesterday. The wiring is done except for the, starter switch, lights, fuel pump, still need to get that. Took off misc stock yj crap.

Got a different master cylinder on.

put some different springs on. They are toy rear main and second leafs. mixed with 4" yj springs. It moves the front axle forward 2". The wheelbase is now 108"

And the cooling fan looks a little small, and perhaps too close to the radiator itself (pics can be decieving).
 
no its not the same one we are using. the cooling system will be redone as well. That was the way it was when we picked it up.

no still have the truggy sitting in the garage. It's still being built the same time as this. I bought another truck with one tons and junk. Just for parts and am selling that chassis
 
Not much progress today. Took the radiator to redor the cooling on it. started to redo the crossmember. Cut the rear body for the tires some more and put a seat in.

original lower links. 1.5 .120 wall dom.

lower links now. 1.5" .120 wall sleeved with 1.75" .120 wall sleeved with 2" .120 wall. The heims are only 3/4 heims. I'll be upgrading those as well.

Some more updates. Put the links back on. Set the pinion angle. The lower links are 1.5" sleeved with 1.75" sleeved with 2" .120 wall 4130 chromo.

Started on the steering. Astro van box for the forward facing pitman arm. and started making the frame mount and teaching my little brother to weld. He's doing ok.

Finished up the box mount today. Also had to change the pickup tube in the fuel cell. Almost finished up the fuel and brake lines.

more updates. I'm having a problem with the wiring. I have a affordabel fuel injection harness comp and everything. When I hook all the hot wires up all sensors and everything. I don't have power going to the temp sensor, o2 sensor, or distributor. Also the fuel pump wire. Anyone have any ideas?

Here are some more updates. Finished up the wiring for the lights, Just need to wire the brake lights up. Wire the fan. Put the rollover valve on the tank, finish my seat mounts, Finish my 205 shifter, and I think thats it.
