Anybody know where I can buy a flag and mount locally, I.E. western washington? I was going to order one online but I'm heading to tacoma next weekend and figured if I could just pick one up somewhere that would be easier. I'll make a tab for the body I just need whip, flag and quick release. Thanks

Any motorcycle shop on the west side that sells ATV's or ATV parts will have a wip.

A couple thought on flags: Dont buy the kind with the steel wip. Way too dangerous in a wipe-out; they can puncture you or someone else.

You will frequently break the button 2-3" off your fiberglass wip. Keep a leatherman or hacksaw blade handy. Very simple to cut the broken end off if you have the tools.

We used to run the Pop-it brand. They work really well and never poped loose except in a crash.

So are you going to Oregon or Moses ?

We used to go to sand lake a bunch as it closer than Florence or Coos bay. Florence is definitely the ATV shizzy though.

I'm getting married in a few weeks and we're doing the honeymoon in Newport. I talked her into taking the Bronco down and heading to Florence for a day. I've ridden quads down there before but I've never done any sand wheeling any of my trucks, I figure it'll be a blast or suck balls. I'm not sure if the Bronco can handle it, guess I'll just air down and give it a shot. Where is Sand Lake at? I seem to remember swimming at a state park where the dune runs right into a lake, same place maybe?

Honeyman in florence have dunes that go down right into the lake, that could be what you're thinking of. Sand lake is farther north. Tillamook area if i remember correctly? Not 100% on that.

Yup, Honeyman is where I was thinking. We're for sure going to head down to Florence, might be able to talk her into a stop at Sandlakes on the way back. Thanks for the reminder on the permit.

The sand is soft enough at Florence that you could get your Bronco stuck if you go out into the wrong area. It would be right at home in Tillamook though.

Be sure to stop by the blimp hanger and also get some "squeeky cheeze" at the cheeze factory.

Let me know if and when you are planning to visit the cheese factory. I can pm ya my cell # and get ya some curds for free, and sooo fresh that they will be warm. I just need a date and a rough time estimate to look for ya. :awesomework:

Hey thanks for the offer, I'm not sure if we'll end up heading home that way or not but I'll let you know.

Stock Bronco's are pretty:rb: too, so I might have to swing by there:flipoff: . I really miss the front and rear detroits that my Scout had. An aussie or lockright, at the very least, is in the near future.
