I live about 1.5 hrs north of Dallas (TX) where that schmuck from Liberia who brought it here just died (good riddance IMO). Conspiracy theorist in me says they (Feds) are letting it happen so they can go Marshall law and full on police state...

So what's the latest on this Ebola ****? Is that the first guy to die from it in America? Has it spread to many others yet? Just wondering the current status.

Deputy sheriff of who went into the apartment of the guy from Liberia who died is now showing symptoms and they think he has it.
Aids needs to be spread by body fluid contact and the virus dies very quickly outside a human. Ebola on the other hand can attach itself to water particles
(Sneezing coughing etc) and live in said water particle for 24 hrs. If someone with Ebola sneezes or coughs on you, you're hosed.
That's why everyone is uptight about it... Oh that and the incubation period is 3-21 days so you may not know you have it for 3 weeks. Early on when you are contagious you may only have a mild fever. When that is going on you are probably infecting lots of other people.
