Long Weekend Trip Idea?

Looking for someplace to go and relax for a few days with the family. Somewhere a few hours drive from Bham. Thinking mountains would be nice? Maybe TN or GA, any ideas? Is there fun stuff to do for a few days in Chattanooga?

Yeah we did Rock City last year I think. If anybody knows of some nice mountain cabins let me know. That might be a fun relaxing weekend...

Yeah we have been to Gatlinburg before and that is an option. Problem is it says 5 hours there from Bham, which is a little longer than I would like. Thinking aboug a cabin or b&b in or near Chattanooga/Lookout Mtn. Ideas on where to look?

Try out Callaway Gardens in Ga. Very close and has lots to do for you and the family unit.

I have been to Ruby Falls and other places listed in the web site I posted. Its located in the country , very nice mountain and country side.
