85 toyota 4runner with fj80 clutch master and slave cyl

Last two times out the first time I drive it(for the day) I lose pressure. After running for a while pumping the clutch a few times before I shift I get decent pressure back for the rest of the day. Under the hood there is moisture around the clutch master cyl but I don't know where its coming from. Out of the cap or through the cylinder. Any ideas on how to check this, or how to check if I am sucking air into the MC.

Thanks.

is there any exhaust near it?

when i had my exhaust done they ran it too close to the clutch slave cyl and it was boiling the fluid so it would not work after a long drive then after pumping it a few times it would work. i built a heat shield.

other option is to clean it off real good and keep an eye on it to determine the leak.

Look on the inside of the firewall, I bet you lost yer master and its leaking on the inside...

Just made a heat shield, slave is about 2" above the exhaust. I took it for a 15 min. drive and didn't notice any loss of pressure. I think that may have been it.

Inside of the firewall is dry.

What makes this GTLMA fluid better? what is the claims.
