LQ9 6.0 HO Engine LS6 Intake Sanderson Headers

I have no clue about theses engines , and it seems that they run pretty good for what i have seen in a few guys rigs . I can buy all this for 2750.00
How much Horse power Do these put out ?
What would it take to get 450 -500 Hp out of it ..

Any help would be great fully appreciated .

This is a very clean 6.0 liter LQ9 based engine that has been converted to car accessories and oil pan for tighter packaging.

The engine came from a 2005 Escalade and it has around 40k miles. It features a brand new LS6 intake and all new sensors, fuel injectors and cable driven throttle body.

New F-Body Water Pump & Tensioner

New F-Body Crank Pulley

New F-Body Alternator Bracket

New F-Body Oil pan

New LS6 lifter valley cover, knock sensors and crossover tubes

New LS6 intake with all new components and sensors.

New Sanderson Ceramic Coated Headers

New Plug wires, coil packs and truck brackets. The drivers side interferes with the fuel fitting and was planning to modify for fit.

GM 12200411 PCM with red/blue plugs

Engine mounts that convert the new style 4 bolt mounts to standard 3-bolt Small Block Chevy mounting.

honestly, you could prolly throw a good cam in it and it will make those numbers. those LQ9s make some awesome power right out of the box....has a good parts list to go with it too, just add a cam and tune.

5 of the 6 bellhousing bolt holes you can use, the one that you can't leave it alone [do not drill and tap] got one hooked to a th350 with a th400 conv. or you could go with a different flywheel. I've had good service from Jim so I would recommend him.

Does it have a harness with it....didnt see that mentioned. Alot of guys are not liking the Fbody pan cause it starves them of oil quicker. Nice package I guess. I bought a LQ4 out of an 07 Hummer with 27K on it with harness/ECM/cable drive TB for $1700 bucks. Yes I know yours is a LQ9 and has Sanderson headers but will they fit your application? Hard call on it.

From what I can tell, it is price right. I just picked up an LQ9 as well and to convert it over to the LS6intake/fcar pan/ and cable throttle costs ~$600-700. All new accessories ain't cheap either. FYI Turn Key Engines says they have a harness/ECM package that will put that motor in stock form @ 490HP/450ft/lb for $1300.

I will be sending my harness/ecu to JimsPerformance due to the $600 price difference and Jim also has a great reputation

Oil starvation. Get a good pan and/or an accumilator.

I am going to switch it over to a dry sump , So i know it will always have oil not matter what .
No it does not have a harness with it . But does have a pcm . Im looking at buying a new stand alone harness from Gm , Or buying a used one and having it cut down .
