ok ..... i pulled the truck intake of my motor and put an LS1 intake on it......The truck had a supply and return on the fuel rails......The LS1 only has a supply.....So running this intake and fuel rails i dont have to have a supply?? also on the oppisite side of the supply fitting there is what looks to be some type of regulator.....Is this a regulator or am I just way off and dont have a clue whats going on.......any help is greatly appreciated....Thanks HardLine

you will need some sort of regulator on there. goto your local parts house and get a Vette fuel filter. They are the regulator for those cars.

Woodlee did a very good write up on pirate about how to run these fuel systems, search for it over there, should answer any question you have.

G....I have all the info you need along with part numbers. Holla at me this afternoon. :dblthumb:

Here is the part # for the WIX filter. They make a cheaper filter but I haven't heard anything good about it. Also is the part # for all of the fittings to make it #6 AN ready to hook up.

WIX filter #33737
3/8 russell quick connect # 640850
5/16 russell quick connect # 640860
Russell 3/8 Male quick connect to -6AN #640940

There are bunches of places that sell these as combo kits ready to hook up.

That picture with the blue fittings is wrong. The center fitting is 5/16 and is the return, the top fitting is 3/8 and is the feed coming from the fuel pump-like the first picture posted.

Those blue fittings with the plastic clips are garbage. I've seen two of them pop off. One could have burned a buggy down with about six of us working on it had it popped off a few minutes sooner.

Use these. They use a metal nut and o-rings.

I took the pics down. Didn't even notice they were backwards just grabbed a pic off of google images ::) mostly to show ends and filter not in a factory install.

I have been running the plastic clip lines for two years now and not a problem but hadn't seen the ends you posted either.
