How do the ls motors do in creeks and water in general. I've got an lt1 I was going to put in my new buggie but can't get the idea of the distributor being down low out of my head. Don't ride in water much but we do have one great place to ride where we do have some crossings.

As long as all your connectons are with the GM stuff and you keep your intake dry you can run them underwater. Obviously any water hitting your headers or manifold is going to steam but those coil paks and the ECM are sealed water tight units.

he didnt really destroy the block, it was more like installing some inspection holes for the crankshaft...

i have been running ls1 motors in buggies for 4 years on my new rig the intake is turned around backwards and the air filter is in the cab along with the computer and i have not had any problems with crossing creeks, just keep the air intake dry and you should be golden
