I have a Ram Jet 350 in my buggy, similar to an LT1. 350 hp and 400 tq. The woman's buggy has an LS1. Supposed to be the same hp but the LS1 turns nearly 7000 rpm and revs a lot faster. My buggy is in line for an LS swap in the next few weeks.You can get LS1s pretty cheap and there's lots of guys tuning them. That's how I'd go. I figure there's a reason all the new buggies have LS's.
