Manual tranny behind 4.3

Whats a good one. im looking at running a stock vortec and d-300. am i going to need adapters

depends on if you want an over drive, manual or auto? If no over drive and manual why not do a SM465 with the adaptor for the np208. If you oblong one of the holes the d300 will mate. As far as an auto a th350. If looking for overdrive I'd say a nv4500 or a 700r4 for auto

nv4500 if ya got the money otherwise i'd say sm465 it has to the 6.50 first gear or something like that. ill be doing basically the same swap your doing paulie 4.3/sm465/dana 300 or my pos 20.

If I was to do it again I would go with an nv4500 Sm465 is a brute mule but isn't easy to shift...
