a how to modify the metal pede yoke to work with jato drive shafts

parts needed
traxxas hardened drive yoke #4628x qty 2
traxxas half shafts #5550 qty2
traxxas ball from the tmaxx driveshafts
tools needed
a vise
a socket just big enough for the yoke pins to pass through
and a 3/32 drill bit
and a punch

the first pic shows just the metal pede yoke unmodified

i forgot to take a pic on this step but you will get the idea this is the ball from the jato driveshafts just by its self

this next pic shows the ball from the jato driveshafts in the vise if you look reall close to the ball you can see a little ring right around the pin that can be pressed out. Thats what you want to do is press that pin out

It will end up looking like this

Now onto the metal yoke i forgot to take a pic of the step before this but its the same as the above but with the metal pede yoke instead

now take the ball from the jato drive shaft and drill the pin hole that you pressed out with the 3/32 drill bit

now for the traxxas t-maxx ball press one of the pins out like you did with the jato ball.

Now put the ball from the jato into the pede metal yokes and line the whole up with the ears on the yoke and press the pin in and there is no slope at all and it is almost bullet proof and instead of using pede shafts now you can use jato shafts the finale pic all together

hope you enjoy
