so this morning she went in before me. no big deal, right. what if she had plans to go in at 8 with kalli because she is still at work right now. yep, 10 at night. she went in at 5:30 this morning because she got a call that her opener didn't show again. she gets her 7 y.o. up out of bed and says lets go. grab your pillow and blanket. ****ing bullshit. **** that job. those bitches waiting for the pool can go work out on a treadmill. michelle shouldn't cover for her lazy ass teenage gaurds when they get too drunk to come in. Firings in order you say (me too)? she is understaffed as it is. So another 16+ hour day rolls off. Great for the family (mainly Kalli, I do the same ****). It just gets worse and worse. she won't stop working and spend time with Kalli or anyone else. ****ing too driven when challenged. when not challenged, feels guilty and depressed. I wish she were back in the 8-5 she had when we got together, she wasn't challenged, but damn was she happy otherwise and didn't blow up on everyone.

Sounds like she just needs to over staff, and expect turnover, and no shows. Go to a double coverage on the opening. At least that way odds are 1 will show up.
Those hours are not only hard on her, but Kalli, and you. No wonder you're relationship is stressed.

And whats the plan on the Bachelor party? I need to call Luke or Clint? I need to make plans. Prolly fly up on Sat morning, and flyback Sun morning.

yup, you need to talk to luke and clint. You know how much mike likes to plan..or not at all. I'd say its up to Luke, with you corresponding. he is local and clint is probably busy or drunk. :drinkers: :flipoff1:
I brough up bama and she seemed receptive. I want to take the girls down next trip and see if they like HB and Ambo. :spin: :popcorn:

Alright, I'm so glad you brought it up to her. You have to include your future wife in everything.

I really firmly believe that for you to progress towards your ultimate goal (owning your own ofroad shop in KS), you need to snag the opportunity in front of you. Looks like Michelle needs to make a job change before it runs her in the ground as well. Explain that for you to move forward you need to do A, B, C, D. Give her a horizon for return to P-town. I think you need the experience working with/for someone else and see how they run their business. Not saying you have ever ran what you've done bad, but its a whole lot easier & cheaper to learn from someone elses mistakes and insight.
I know you and her both can not stay gone from Paola for too long. Too much family and ties there. Hell I want to move back daily.
Go LEARN, GROW, EXPAND, EXPERIENCE. Then take that and come back to start out on your own.
Granted she'll have to give some to get some. As will you. Its all about the compromises.

and for God's sake don't say "one of these days I wanna do this or one of these days I wanna do that" You run out of "one of these days" really fast! Ask me how I know at 47! About 25 years ago I just wanted to get into building houses "one of these days".....never happened.....I'll always regret it and wonder how it would have went. No one takes the statement that "you only go thru this life once" very seriously until it's too late to do the things you missed.

I take it serious... I go for my dreams and try like hell to not just say I want to or will do something, I do what ever is neccasary to make my dreams come true. No one else is gonna do it for you ! ;D

changing dreams are a theme of hers. her ultimate goal is to be involved in community. she is very active and a board member in the chamber, loves the Y for what it stands for, etc. she just doesn't know how she wants to go about living her life out helping the community and making a nice living doing it. I would be all about telling her I'm going or we're going if Kalli wasn't in the picture. visitation, ailing grandfather that she thinks the world of, all of her friends, just going into 2nd grade, etc. almost too much on her since she's moved towns 4 times in her life and houses 7 times. fawking divorce, huh?
 
So I may be wrong here, but you want "this" and she wants "that" and you both want each other, but life has a funny way of ignoring those you care about and vice versa? It's rough man, it's rough. You wanna chat sometime hollah
