might...just might be buying an 85 Toyota/money pit

Old neighbor in Kansas City has a relative that has an 85 Toyota, no idea on lift, doubt it has a doubler or crossover steering but it has detroit lockers, motor has been gone through and he is a mechanic and I guess is good with maintenance and shoved a shitton of $$ into it the last few year. Body is rough, but for $2500 this kid is interested in a mild wheeler on 33's and a home depot runner. Sell the vitty and buy a fun vehicle to drive (WRX anyone??). Going to call him in a week or so, recent family death so I am not about to hound him about a POS truck about now.

would I still be a web wheeler??? :fish:

Yeah the ricer SUV was a great financial decision last year. Traded my 04 Taco (hated teh payment, loved the truck) to a guy for his Vitty with low miles and all options. No payments is great no mater what it is IMO. Summer it sits 9 days outta 10 anyway. No idea what summer is anymore. molaugh

Also told it out jump some high dollar buggies down at Wanoka so an extra front housing comes with it molaugh

Anywhere near Iowa? I ain't driving an XO rig 800 miles home. Hell even 800 miles for that matter.

And to answer your question. My budget would mean, no I prolly won't buy it. Overbuilt for me and too much $$. I truely hate XO's and toyota axles, so a cheap beater is all I need.
