Miller Plasma cutter

Any body have a miller plasma cutter ? Like it or not ? Looking for one that will cut up to 1/2

I use a miller 375. It won't do a clean cut at 1/2 inch but it will cut it.

I'm really happy with it. Took a while to get used to the air staying on after you release the trigger. But then I realized, it is supposed to do that.

I use the Miller 375 Xtreme. :awesomework: Haven't done a whole lot with it yet but it's definitely bad ass! It just takes a lot of power! Haven't even used it with 220V yet though. :looser:

The GF likes it too. :redneck:

Miller 2050. It's dead. Needs a $600 control board to resurrect it.

Is the 375 and the extreme 375 the same ? Does the 375 mean they are rated for cutting 3/8s.

Yeah, they're basically the same however the Xtreme can be ran on 220V as well giving it a slightly longer duty cycle. Plus it comes with a neat box. :redneck:

When I worked at Olympic we had (i don't know the series) the one that was rated to sever 1 1/4, it was a pretty nice torch, but super bad about burning up tip's.

From Miller's site:

I have the regular 375 and it is running of 220. They have the same capacities and both can work off either 110 or 220. The Xtreme is just really compact and portable.

I use the same on the daily, I love the reliability, but for a machine it's size, it's a little bitch.

its true but i dont think i will ever have material it wont be able to cut through cleanly, things got tons of power!

In my buildup thread, that is what I used to cut my motor mount's, 1/2" plate and it was struggling

Yep, it doesn't cut too bad, it's just not in any big hurry.

I've got a plamsatec 40 that I got from ebay. I heard about them from Pirate 4x4... Gotta say I love it and it cuts 1/4 like butter. Best part is that it was $425 to my door.
