Man Im hot.... they mis shipped a very pricey ( 65K ) Avionics part of ours 6/10 and I have been passed off to blown off from and handed around so many damn times Im about to fly myself to Houston go knock on the door that it was delivered to and ****in punch who ever answers...

I sent a very heated email to several parties this morning. I better get a phone call TODAY with your package has been recovered and we are handling it.

UPS sucks too, they just lost a $12k shipment and sent us a $100 check because we didn't have that **** insured. :

I just got my tracking number from Diamond Axle. According to UPS it's supposed to arrive on Monday. Son of a bitch, one working day sooner and I'd have a long weekend to fix my rig. Now it's not going to be fixed until 7/12.

Get it back. Send a package to someone insured at $13,000 (for time and trouble). Needs to be expensive looking piece and packaged like a baby would make it. File your claim on the new package to cover what they should have paid you.

$12k is a drop in the bucket

...I guess I shoulda clarified, work.. not personal.

Rarely happens, but it cost so much to insure I think we'd lose more money insuring everything that we pay shipping on instead of just replacing parts if lost/damaged. Right now I'm working on assessing whether it is worth insuring or not. We may do it on extra high dollar shipments---it'd suck to lost $80k in one UPS/fed ex shipment.

Insuring packages has always been a hot topic in my line O work. They get pissed when you do it, put out memo's NOT to insure packages blah blah blah, but let something happen and its " Why wasnt that insured " laughing1

My ass is covered as far as me personally being held responsible for anything, **** FedEx admitted right outta the gate they dropped the ball. ( address on label was like 14555 Vickery and the driver took it to 14553 or someshit like that... ) still pisses me off though.
