Possibly is the answer. I am on 2nd and don't have much time to put in the jeep right now. I was out looking things over and remembered that the last thing I done before the mis started was I cleaned the K&N. My Mass AirFlow sensor goes in the back of my K&N . I figured some of the extra oil from the filter might have been fawking with my computer/timing etc. So I start checking the sensor and noticed the wires going to it is burned. I am pretty sure they are shorting together by the looks of it. And that kinda explains why when the temp goes up and the air flow coming in doesn't match it is throwing my timing off causing my mis. I hope this is the problem as it will be an easy fix.
I plan to buy a new sensor and run new wiring back to the computer. What a relief it will be to have this fixed. After Shamrock I am planning on redoing my front 3 link if nothing else goes South.
Does anyone have a spare hood latch for a CJ, YJ ? Mine are chrome but I would take whatever. I will be at the Shamrock Run if you can bring it with you.
