mounting 5 leaf waggies up front.

just curious, as they are being set up to install. when using the waggies up front, do i need to remake the front hangers moving them forward 2 to 3" to relocate the axle in the same position? if so does anyone have some pics of the front mounts? thanks.

The locating pin is not in the center of the springs so its automatically gonna move your axle. When i used them on my rig i moved the spring hanger forward 2 inches. Only problem is the shackles didnt have much of a angle on them(83 frame) but the springs still worked good. Man i wish i had pics of my old toy..

well we are using a jeep hanger on the bottom of the frame. when the springs are mounted up the shackle hanger is 9 inches back from the stock hole in the frame. (1984 long bed)but the center of the axle is moved back a couple inches. so new front mounts moved forward 2 inches, i'll have to cut the cross bar out and fab a new one in with the front hangers? correct? any good ideas, or pictures appreciated.
