Muchado , Cole... someone with some vid to puter sense HELP !!!

Im tryin to figure out a few things...

how do I get my video to play on my puter... ( Muchado you know what camera I run... )

I have some Toshiba WinDVD Creator software or something that looks like what I need to be using, I have plugged in what I think is the fire wire, played my "tape" on the camera and got nothing through my laptop. I put the cable to USB in and it no goe's on letting the camera even play.

I dont know what Im doing Kthxbye.

Sorry its InterVideo WinDVD software...

I also have window's movie maker....

I still dont know what im doing and still cant see this stuff on my laptop :dunno:

You can only do it with your firewire cable. Been a while since I did it on a pc. My Mac is simple. If I remember correctly when you plug it in and turn it on you need to open windows movie maker. From there you load it to your computer. Hope this halfway helps.

Did your camera come with it's own software?
Both my Sony Cameras have come with there own program. I have to upload my video to that then once it is all uploaded I can watch it.
If I want to put them on youtube I have to convert them to Mpegs.

I remember it being a pain with a pc. When I load it to my Mac it is easy and I hit a button that says share and it uploads it straight to youtube. It is easier than loading pics to photobucket.

fugggg P... try windows movie maker....

make sure the camera is on and in VCR mode before opening the program...

Open windows movie maker... click "file" then "import from digital video camera" see what happens and if u can figger it out from thur...

I got side tracked for the last... I dont know how long has it been... several hours ! laughing1

I did make a "movie" and registered on YouTube and uploaded my movie and all that. my "movie" is just a picture slideshow with a song that was on my laptop that was about the same length as the "movie" laughing1

I think you guys will find it interesting though, its a cool reflection of the Dirty Thirty coming together , lots of pimpin RickyB , got a Hardlinecrawlers.com pimp and a Hardline Custom pimp at the end... Im learning.

still havent got the camera tape to play on the laptop... Got involved in my first "picture page project" laughing1

How long does it take before your video is " reviewed " ? It said it loaded successfully... but it isnt technically there when I look for it... weird. :dunno:

Im new to putting anything on youtube...

Takes a few minutes before it is ready. Maybe 10 minutes max.

There's a fairly good number of fugger's from the boards in it too... the all of us standing around it "not done but headed to tech anyway" picture is in there. What a great time that was !
