Well im shure everybody that lives in Alabama has been to a mud race at one point or another.
I have recently gotten involved and do believe that it is probably some of the most fun i have ever had.
I have rebuild the old Maytag (with lots of help from everybody) for Brooke Odom and we will be trying to run the rest of the season.
Everybody needs to come out and pull for us and have a good time. Next year we hope to run alot of races with my dad drivin Monsoon (old Gizmo) and me and Chap in Maytag.
Next race is labor day weekend so come out and watch.

I always wanted to build a mud truck. I think this is the 1st year I haven't been to a race in 4 or 5 years.

Doubt it ben.
Its very bad though.
It requires full commitment and has alot more whom-pow than the tank.
Just somethin about goin fast and mud whompin...................

Classes were pretty strict when we were putting them on. factory body and frame with factory style suspension for chassis. single carb nat asp. no juice. Guys running honest 800s plus on motor alone, with 25K in the long block
What are you guys putting down? tire class breakups? tractor tire was unlimited then, DOT uncut were the class breaks. I have some pretty fawking crazy vids from then, on analog laughing1
It is a good neck ass time, all kinds of haWT trash walking around scantily clad

We run in super modified and open class. The tracks in Bama dont have near the rules the ones in Miss and LA have.
We run in super because of the tunnle cab and motor size and in open because everybody can run in open.
Not to shure of exact hp but it the same stuff the guys in miss run so should be around the same power.

I have been watching Gizmo run since the early 90's and all I can say is he never left it at the gate. :****: I watched him at Talladega come through the finish line airborn and LAND in the retention pond 75 FEET PAST THE LINE, :fish: then started the sumbee up and stuck it to the floor and shot out of there. Crowd went wild... :woot: :woot: :woot:

Bodacious is pretty quick to. I think a young kid drives it. :dunno:

You are correct. He graduated outa my class last year.

He is pretty fast, but Drews truck will out run him.

The Labor Day race is at Off Road Tuscaloosa 9-6-09 starts at 1.
We raced at Talladega in July and gotta say its a very fast track. Tuscaloosa has more competition.
Same people that used to own Maytag had Gizmo to.
Both are crazy fast but Gizmo has more motor and cuts that water like a boat.

That sho is a good lookin truck but I wish someone would kill that straight ass fat snake under the front in the first pic :woot: :woot:
